A guided edible art workshop where cake meets floral design, hosted in a former garment-factory-turned-loft in East Williamsburg.
Join us for an intimate, hands-on workshop hosted by Tracey, the creator behind the TikTok-viral cakes by Lost Horse Cafe.
The workshop approaches cake as an art object. Using buttercream, seasonal florals, fruit, and textural accents, you will leave the class with a fully decorated cake.
What You’ll Learn
You’ll leave with a finished cake sculpture and a foundation in,
+ Crumb coating and building a clean base
+ Color mixing for buttercream
+ Classic piping techniques such as scrolls, shells, and rosettes.
+ Floral care, placement and botanical styling
What’s Included
+ A pre-baked, personal mini-cake base - two-layered 5’’ cake , vanilla cake with raspberry and lychee jam
+ Seasonal florals, fruit, herbs, and decorative toppings
+ Supplies and tools
+ Light bites and refreshments (tea, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks)
+ Photos of your final creation
No prior cake decorating experience is needed.
