About this Event

Welcome to the Cake Decorating Basics class hosted by Baskin-Robbins Gainesville! Our goal is to provide you with the skills and confidence to create beautiful and delicious cakes at home. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience with cake decorating, this class is perfect for anyone looking to learn new skills or improve existing skills and have fun in the process.

We are offering Cake Decorating Basics on the last Saturday of the month beginning in August and ending in November 2024 with a different theme each month.

August 31– Beach, summer
September 28 – Autumn
October 26 – Halloween
November 30 – Thanksgiving

In this class you will learn

basic cake decorating designs
how to pipe using different tips to make flowers, borders, stars, and rosettes
ways to create various decorative borders

Expert instruction from a professional cake decorator
Step-by-step, personal instruction
5% discount on purchases of supplies and tools and ice cream on the day of class

After completing the class, you will be treated to a delicious scoop of Baskin-Robbins ice cream!

About Your Instructor
Your main instructor, Oriana, has over a dozen years of culinary, cake, and cupcake experience. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping you develop your cake decorating skills. Oriana will be joined by another instructor to ensure that each participant receives individualized attention and guidance.

Additional Information

After registering, you will receive a supply list of items you will need to bring with you or purchase.
Price is per person. A ticket must be purchased for each individual attending the class.
Class requires a minimum of six (6) students, and there is a maximum of twelve (12) students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a refund.
Class will run approximately 1.5 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least five (5) days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after five (5) days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
