🍰📚 Cake & Book Picnic 📚🍰
Join us for a relaxed picnic where everyone brings a cake to share. We'll hang out, try different desserts, chat, and enjoy a slow morning together. There will also be an optional mini book swap for anyone who wants to trade a book they enjoyed.
This is meant to be a small, friendly gathering so everyone actually gets cake and has a chance to talk. Spots will be limited to keep things manageable.
How it works
🍰 Bring a cake to share
Homemade or store-bought is totally fine. Cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, bundt cakes, and loaf cakes are all welcome.
📚 Optional book swap
If you'd like to participate, bring a book you enjoyed and trade it for something new.
🧺 Picnic style
Bring a blanket or lawn chair if you'd like to sit comfortably.
Suggested things to bring
• Your cake to share
• Cake server or knife (if needed)
• Picnic blanket or chair
• Water or drinks for yourself
• A book if you'd like to join the swap
Once we get closer to the event, I’ll make a list so we don’t end up with 12 chocolate cakes.
