About this Event
Caitlyn Smith is an acclaimed singer-songwriter whose powerful vocals and masterful storytelling have made her one of the most compelling voices in modern music. Born and raised in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, Caitlyn has released three studio albums on Monument Records—Starfire (2018), Supernova (2020), and High & Low (2023)—and is currently in the studio working on her fourth.
Renowned for her genre-defying songwriting, Caitlyn has penned hits for icons like Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers (“You Can’t Make Old Friends”), pop stars Meghan Trainor and John Legend (“Like I’m Gonna Lose You”), and country standouts including Lainey Wilson, Lady A, Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Ian Munsick, and Gabby Barrett. Her songs have also been recorded by artists such as Miley Cyrus, Mumford & Sons, Fletcher, Avicii, James Bay, and countless others.
After years of success behind the scenes, Caitlyn stepped into the spotlight with Starfire, her confident debut blending pop, soul, and country influences. She has toured with Sheryl Crow, Amos Lee, Chris Stapleton, George Strait, and Little Big Town, with Rolling Stone naming her one of “10 New Artists You Need to Know.”
Sydney Hansen, a Duluth native, is an accomplished Nashville-based recording artist and songwriter who brings depth and artistry to her music, reflecting both her Midwestern roots and Nashville’s rich creative spirit. She will be performing an acoustic set with her band’s lead guitarist, Don Douglas.
