The 15-year-old Ensemble Nylandia embarks on a journey into the Bach universe where the composer's orchestral music inventions and arias meet each other in both familiar and unfamiliar versions. The concert is part of Ensemble Nylandia's 15th anniversary program and at the same time a farewell concert for Betania house.
The main numbers of the concert will be J.S. Bach's orchestral suite no. 2 and Elena Kats-Chernin's Re-Inventions (2004). The work of the Uzbek-born composer living in Australia reflects Bach's two-voice inventions. Between parts of the works you can hear both more traditional versions of Bach's inventions and Pyh Bach! - project outputs.
