Meal kits will be available to pick up in the CHCA Grand Atrium (SJB, Floor 1) on Friday, December 13, between 11:45 am and 12:15 pm.
Our Baking and Pastry Arts students are pleased to offer unique Café Concept Meal Kits for sale as part of their third-semester lab exams. In teams of two, students have created unique and specially designed menus to showcase all the skills they have acquired to date and based on a café concept of their own. Over thirty-six unique, creative, and delicious meal kits are available to choose from!
This is an excellent value at only $20 per meal kit — and a perfect way to support our hard-working students!
Every Café Concept Meal Kit will contain:
- A full-size loaf of bread
- A jarred preserve
- A two or three-component main course meal with sides (One portion)
- A Viennoiserie product (specialty croissant or similar)
- A dessert element

We want to create foreign-friendly Asian dishes by putting a spin on familiar Western foods and incorporating our Chinese and Thai ethnicities through traditional flavours and ingredients. Our cafe name represents this idea because each special ingredient emanates an aroma reminiscent of our home countries, so we hope to share our cultural heritage for more people to appreciate as deeply as we do.
