About this Event
Rich has been training in Jiu Jitsu for almost 20 years. “I’m a 3rd Degree Black Belt with the British Jiu Jitsu Association and a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I work as a Personal Trainer and love teaching people how to move and train in a way that brings them joy.”
Jiu Jitsu is a defensive martial art. Learning it gives you situational awareness and self-defence skills. We use throws, locks and strikes to defend from a variety of attacks which can be applied in modern day contexts, from someone trying to grab your wrist to pub brawls. Our martial art shows that you don't have to be strong, big or athletic to be able to protect yourself.
We run these classes on the first Sunday of every month.
