What if you could go on a real-life treasure hunt… right here in Ogden?
Cache Me in Ogden is a fun, family-friendly outdoor adventure where you’ll search for hidden “geocaches” (small treasure containers) using simple clues and maps.
Inside each cache, you’ll find small items. 👉 Take one. Leave one. Keep the treasure going.
This is about more than finding things…
It’s about:
- Getting outside 🌿
- Exploring your community 🏡
- Trying something new 🎒
- Creating simple, meaningful moments together 💛
No experience needed. Just come ready for a little adventure.
👨👩👧👦 WHO IT’S FOR
- Families
- Kids & youth
- Individuals
- Anyone who wants to get outside and have fun
👉 Children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
🗺️ HOW IT WORKS
- Arrive anytime between 12:00–2:00 PM
- Get your starting info
- Head out to find hidden caches around the area
- Most people will find 2–5 caches during the event
- Return by 4:00 PM
Inside each cache:
- A small notebook to sign your team name
- Small items to trade
✨ Bring a small item to trade if you can! (optional)
🎒 WHAT TO BRING
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Water bottle
- Your phone for GPS coordinates
- A small trinket to trade (optional)
- Your sense of adventure 😊
💛 COST
This is a free community event
If you’d like to contribute, there will be an optional donation to help cover supplies and support future community events.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES
- This is an outdoor activity — dress for the weather
- Please respect park spaces and other participants
- Stay aware of your surroundings (especially near roads or water)
- All participants must return by 4:00 PM
