Cacao Journey: A Moment of Presence* An invitation to pause the world for a moment and rest in your own presence.*
There is something quietly transformative that happens when people gather with intention and take a moment away from the noise of everyday life. Cacao has a way of helping us settle, tune in, and reconnect with what is here within us. These afternoons are designed for anyone seeking a grounded, restorative experience that supports clarity and connection.
This gathering is open to both women and men and welcomes anyone who is curious about cacao or exploring their own inner world in a gentle and approachable way.
What is Ceremonial Cacao?
Ceremonial cacao is a pure, traditional form of cacao used for thousands of years in Mesoamerican cultures such as the Mayans and Aztecs. It is grown and prepared with care and has a depth and richness not found in standard chocolate. Many people find that it supports them to feel more present, more aware, and more connected to what matters.
The cacao served here is ethically sourced, traditionally prepared, and honours the communities who continue these practices today.
What You Can Expect
Every experience is different, and there is no right or wrong way to feel. Some people find the session steadying. Some experience insight or emotion. Some simply enjoy the stillness. You do not need to aim for anything. Just be as you are.
Your experience may include:
- A guided cacao invitation and mindful sipping
- Gentle meditation and breath to support presence
- Energy work with permission
- Drum, bowls and chimes as supportive sound elements
- Thoughtfully curated music to accompany your experience
- Quiet reflection, journalling or optional sharing if time allows
- Groups are intentionally kept small so you have room to relax, explore, and be supported.
A Grounded, Trauma-Aware Approach
As a trained Sacred Cacao Facilitator with trauma-aware practice, the space is held with care, clarity and respect. Everything offered is invitational. You choose your pace. Your autonomy is central.
The Science Behind the Experience
Cacao contains theobromine, magnesium, anandamide and other naturally occurring compounds known to support circulation, mood, and calm focus. Many people find this creates a supportive internal environment for meditation and reflective practices.
