Cacao Ceremony

We humbly invite you to come participate and sit with us in our next monthly Cacao Ceremony at the Center for the Higher Self in Wynwood, Miami Florida guided by Zulaika with music support by Salva Alba & Angel Morelli.

ABOUT THE EVENT -

Cacao is the queen of superfoods with benefits for our health, with antioxidant properties and a high concentration of minerals and vitamins. "An ancient legend tells that when human beings fell into oblivion, the spirit of cacao would rise to bring us the memory of who we are ”. A beautiful ceremony & gratitude ritual accompanied by songs that stimulate the union of the spirit and heart vibration. Cacao helps us feel more clarity in our mind and brings more peace and harmony into our beings as well as an energizing euphoric state of bliss.

In this cacao ceremony we will sit in sacred circle around the fire. We will learn more about cacao and participate in a special ritual. Zuli will share some meditation techniques to go within and work with the healing spirit of cacao. We will all work together giving offerings to the sacred fire of life. This ceremony is for anyone who wants to be in community in a protected sacred space where we get to tune in and you allow yourself to be guided to assist in whatever you need at this intersection of your life.

Bring an intention as to why you want to drink this medicine and sit in reverence around the sacred fire. Ask why are you drinking this cacao? This will help you be more clear and focused. After the ceremony you will leave feeling more joyful, more grounded, more clear on your path and more inspired. Music accompanied by Salvador Alba who brings his original tunes from Dominican Republic & special music guest Angel Morelli with his dynamic sound healing flute and percussion & Zuli with her ethereal and powerful healing voice.

Zulaika Alvarez is a highly sensitive, highly intuitive empath. Sometimes psychic and learning to become a channel. She is a massage therapist, reiki practitioner and medicinal aromatherapist. Zulaika has been working with plant medicine the last 9 years and has found deep healing and a new way of life with the help of indigenous practices and rituals from South America to Mexico and the Native American Church. She follows the red road of life and has adapted this way of life for herself. She is a vision quester with Fuego Sagrado de Itzachilatlan (Quechua) and has been supporting the sacred work of the Wixárika Nation from Mexico (Indeginous healers AKA Huichol) for the last 5 years. During her vision quest in Ecuador is when the spirit of cacao came to bring her guidance and instruction that she was to learn how to run these ceremonies in a traditional way to help preserve real traditions and the sacred way of sharing cacao. Zuli remains true to her connection with the spirit world and the guidance of her visions to hold these ceremonies in this way.

Aixa Amankay (smiling flower) has trusted Zuli with this ritual which was passed on from her teacher, a Mexican who is in the stars now, known as “abuela Margarita”. It is through the generosity of the elders to trust her integrity that Zuli has the honor to share this ritual with our community. Zuli is also an advocate for microdosing fungi and has been helping many get started with guidance on proper microdosing protocols in a safe way.

Salva Alba Bio

Salva Alba is a singer-songwriter & multi instrumentalist from the Dominican Republic. After years of playing in rock and reggae bands in his native land, he found a calling to do something more with music than just entertaining.

This is when he discovers medicine music and takes on the path of using the power of music as a tool to aid in the awakening of our higherself.

Around this time he met Zuli, by a suggestion made by the renowned singer Jesus Hidalgo, they've embarked on a journey of sharing the medicine of Cacao with beautiful musical soundscapes that make the experience deeper and more fullfilling.
