CACAO & SOUND: JOURNEY TO A STATE OF DEEP RELAXATION

Join us for an intimate evening of ceremonial cacao and sound healing. Immerse yourself in an enchanting atmosphere of love and kindness through the hearth-opening ritual of ceremonial cacao, with the assistance of soothing sound vibrations. This in-person event will take place at the beautiful location in State Of Mind Utrecht, Oudegracht 226, Netherlands.

WHAT IS CACAO & SOUND?

Cacao & Sound is an event that combines the rituality and sacredness of a cacao ceremony with the powerful healing properties of sound healing. These two practices are individually very profound experiences for people since ancient times. Their combination is chosen to enhance the medicinal qualities of the cacao plant and the healing touch of sound frequencies.

Cacao, in its ceremonial form, has been used for shamanic rituals in the Mayan and Aztec traditions to connect with the divine. Besides that, cacao is known for its heart-opening and grounding qualities: cacao enhances feelings of empathy, love and emotional openness, together with feelings of being more rooted, present and connected to the earth.

Sound healing is one of the oldest healing methods of mankind that uses sound vibrations to promote physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. This healing method was widely used by ancient civilizations for numerous benefits such as: improved sleep quality, reduction of stress and anxiety, improved confidence, heightened creativity and feelings of relaxation and calmness;

This event is NOT for you if you have one of the following conditions:

- Epilepsy.

- Deep brain stimulation device

- Carotid stenosis

- Implanted pacemaker, stent, or shunt

- Have severe heart problems.

- Are on antidepressants that contain MAOIs.

- Use Medic*tion against high blood pressure.

- Pregnancy.

- Less than 18 years old

BEFORE: HOW TO PREPARE

• Bring a water bottle (if you have one) as hydration is important for both the cacao and sound parts of the event
• Wear comfortable and warm clothes.
• It's advised to not drink coffee on the day of the ceremony. If not drinking coffee gives you a headache, try to drink less coffee and in a lower dose.
• It's advised to not drink alcohol or use drugs the day before and on the day of the ceremony.
• Don’t eat anything at least 2 hours before the ceremony.
• Feel free to bring a notebook, pen, and meaningful objects.

Please note that tickets for this event are non-refundable.

If you can't make it, we can try our best to help you find someone who can take your spot. If no one takes your spot, unfortunately, your ticket won't be refunded.
