About this Event

When was the last time you had a real conversation?

Not the "how's work?" kind.

The kind where you actually feel something.

Where you look someone in the eyes and think, "Oh. You get it."

If you're sitting there trying to remember... you're exactly who this evening is for.

HERE'S WHAT WE ARE CREATING:

A Friday night where you can drop the small talk and actually connect with other humans who are just as tired of surface-level interactions as you are.

We start with a cacao ceremony, do a brief meditation to drop you into your heart, move into deep connection games, and close with warm soup that grounds you before you head home.

It's an intimate group. Facilitated the whole way through (so you don't have to figure out what to do or worry about awkward silences).

THE CACAO CEREMONY

We begin by drinking ceremonial-grade cacao together.

Our cacao comes from Prophecy Chocolate and is blended with almond milk, warming spices, vanilla, and a homemade sweetener made with pistachios and brown sugar.

(If you're allergic to nuts, please just email me beforehand and I can use maple syrup in yours.)

I've spent years perfecting this recipe, and the result is something that tastes like luxury French hot chocolate but works differently in your body.

Ceremonial cacao contains theobromine, a compound that gently opens your cardiovascular system and creates a warm, grounded feeling.

Your nervous system relaxes. Your shoulders drop. And suddenly, connecting with the people around you feels easier.

Think of it as a heart-opener that helps you get out of your head and makes it easier to connect with people.

THE CONNECTION GAMES

After the cacao, we play a series of guided connection games designed to bypass small talk entirely.

And no, these are not icebreakers. They're not corporate team-building exercises.

They're carefully designed prompts and activities that create real intimacy between strangers in a surprisingly short amount of time.

You'll have conversations that go deeper than most friendships ever reach.

You'll laugh. You might get a little vulnerable. You'll definitely learn something about yourself and the people around you.

And here's the key: I facilitate everything.

You don't have to drive the conversation or worry about what to say next. You just show up, respond honestly to the prompts, and let the structure do the work.

These games also give you tools you can use in your everyday life to create deeper connections with friends, family, and new people you meet.

THE SOUP

We close the evening with warm, homemade vegan black bean & lentil soup.

After all that heart-opening, the soup brings you back into your body and helps you integrate the experience. You sit with the people you just connected with, enjoy the soup together, and let the evening settle.

WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH

A nervous system that remembers what "safe connection" feels like

Real conversations with people who aren't trying to impress you or sell you something

Tools for creating deeper connections in your everyday life

New faces in your phone (people who actually get it)

The relief of realizing you're not alone in craving something more meaningful

THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Where: JP Cohousing, Jamaica Plain, MA (plenty of street parking available)

WHO THIS IS FOR

You're tired of small talk that goes nowhere

You want real connection but don't know where to find it

You're curious about what would happen if you just showed up as yourself

You're willing to be a little vulnerable in a room full of strangers (which is somehow easier than being vulnerable with people who know your whole story)

WHO THIS ISN'T FOR

You're looking to network or make business connections

You want to stay on the surface and keep things light

You're hoping to pick someone up to date (sure, you might meet someone, but this isn't a singles event)

WHAT PAST ATTENDEES HAVE SAID

"Amazing container for transformation, connections, and for dropping into the heart. What surprised me is how quickly you can go into deep connection and conversations with someone you don't know." - Claudia

"I was surprised at how easy it was to open up and feel other people's openness." - Julien

"What I really liked about tonight was the ability to connect with people I haven't met before." - Wiley

"I was surprised by the level of connection I felt with the people in my small circles." - John

"I think spaces like this and activities like this are important in the world right now. I would encourage anyone who wants to experience what it's like to be connected and held to come and give it a try." - Anne

A FINAL THOUGHT

We all long for real connection. But most of us don't know where to find it anymore.

The bars are too loud. The apps are too shallow. The "networking events" are exhausting.

So we stay home. We scroll. We tell ourselves we're fine.

But you're here reading this, which means some part of you is whispering, "I need this."

Listen to that part.

Save your spot.

Spaces are limited to keep the evening intimate.

We're looking forward to sharing this experience with you.

Warmly,
Jason

P.S. Still on the fence? Ask yourself: What's the worst that could happen? You spend an evening with warm, wonderful humans, drink incredible ceremonial cacao, and go home. But what if you walk out feeling more alive than you have in months?
