The first step in building cabinets is constructing the "box" or carcass. In this hands-on class, you will learn the proper techniques to create a strong and durable cabinet carcass. Joinery and assembly techniques for most cabinet applications will be discussed. The Kreg jig will be demonstrated and used for the face frame assembly.Prerequisites: None
Tools Required: Each student is responsible for supplying their own tape measure, steel rule, adjustable square, pencils or other marking device, notebook, safety glasses and hearing protection.
