Celebrate the special places, people, wildlife and stories of Glossop in this creative drop-in workshop.
Come along and spend a few hours making miniature sculptures, drawings and paintings with us. No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to get creative. We'll guide you through everything, and there's truly no wrong way to take part.
All of your little creations will go on display in our big, shared Cabinet of Treasures — a growing collection of art made by everyone who joins us. It's wonderful to see how each person's unique touch adds something special to the whole.
And at the end of the session, you'll get to take home your very own mini Cabinet of Treasures to keep — a small collection of handmade treasures that are entirely yours.
Whether you're a total beginner, a seasoned maker, or just looking for a fun and relaxing way to spend some time, you're very welcome here. Come along, make some things, and see what wonders turn up.

Derbyshire Makes
This workshop has been funded as part of Glossop’s Derbyshire Makes programme. Join us on 9th May in Glossop for our main festival day, filled with puppet parades, live music, storytelling, exhibitions, and makers' markets. The festival day will be open from 11 am-5 pm in Glossop's Norfolk Square, Market Hall & Partington Theatre.
