IMPORTANT: There are no tickets to enter, but please bring a donation for the winner of the slam! We don't take credit card donations, but we do take cash money and other gifts, so please support the poets!
**To sign up send a PM to Cabaret Poetry Slam, or sign up before the show on the 12th. There are only 20 spots available, so get em while their hot!
****All languages are welcome! We invite anyone who wants to be heard, so don't be surprised if we throw in an OPEN MIC at some point. Poems, songs, interpretative dances, stand up, circus acts ect... are all welcome at the OPEN MIC! Just let us know before and we'll make it happen for you.
So now let's get things straight...
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
The Cabaret Poetry Slam sticks to the dirty Chicago rules... Thus, we kinda like to break all the rules, but since these are the National Eliminations, we need a little orderly chaos in our lives, we will do our best to conform to some basic guidelines:
1. You have 3 minutes to perform in each round. Everyone performs in the 1st round. Four poets get through to the 2nd round and two poets to the third.
2. Perform your OWN poems (if anyone smells an imposter, they'll be sure to let you know)!
3. No props or costumes are allowed in the National Eliminations, but during the open mic or regular slams, if you've got a little something something, we'll let it slide.
4. Judges will be chosen randomly from the audience. Slammers should be judged equally on their poetry and performance.
Please remember the philosophy of all poetry slams is integrity, so use it! ?
5. The winner get's cash money and other crap the audience decides to throw in. This is called the "Good-will of the Audience" prize. Like we said before, there are no tickets to get in, so just support the poets, by throwing some cash or other goodies in the prize bag.
Warsaw Eliminations Points:
1st Place- 6 points
2nd Place- 4 points
3rd and 4th Place- 3 points
Participation in an elimination slam- 1 point
***IMPORTANT NOTE: The Cabaret Poetry Slam, like all slams around the world, is a place for free expression, yet it is NOT A PLACE FOR HATERS. If you plan to insult the beliefs of others in any way, shape, or form, AKA being a jackass, you might as well stay home.
***IMPORTANT NOTE TO THE AUDIENCE: Remember, in a poetry slam, poets and audiences are created equal. Without you, there would be no slam. If you feel like someone is crossing the line, AKA being a jackass, you are allowed to voice your opinion. Booing, hissing, stomping, and snapping are all allowed and encouraged. Of course positive reinforcements are even more encouraged, so please cheer, holler, and declare your love to your favorite poets!
***Note to everyone: Once again, we all must remember the philosophy of slam: integrity.

Dołącz do jedynego w Polsce anglojęzycznego slamu poetyckim! Cabaret Poetry Slam powstał, aby zachęcić expatów do udziału w zabawie, ale jak najbardziej, polscy poeci, przyjdźcie ze swoimi polskimi wierszami!

WAŻNE: Nie ma biletów na wejście, ale prosimy o przekazanie donacje dla zwycięzcy slamu! Nie przyjmujemy kart kredytowych, ale będziemy zbierać gotówkę i prezenty dla poetów!
**Aby się zapisać, wyślij wiadomość priv do Cabaret Poetry Slam lub zapisz się przed slamem. Dostępnych jest tylko 20 miejsc, więc nie spij, zapisuje się!
**Zapraszamy każdego, kto chce być wysłuchany, więc nie zdziw się, jeśli w którymś momencie dorzucimy OPEN MIKA. Wiersze, piosenki, tańce interpretacyjne, stand-up, występy cyrkowe itp. wszyscy są mile widziani!

JAKIE SĄ ZASADY?
The Cabaret Poetry Slam trzyma się zasad Chicagoskich, zdartych do Marca Smitha ? Tak więc lubimy łamać wszystkie zasady, no ale skoro są eliminacje próbujemy się trzymać kilku ogólnych zasad:
1. Masz 3 minuty na wykonanie. Są trzy rundy. Wszyscy przedstawiają swoję wiersze w pierwszej rundzie. Cztery osoby przechodzą do drugie rundy i dwie do trzeciej.
2. Wykonaj WŁASNE wiersze (jeśli ktoś wyczuje oszusta, na pewno Cię o tym powiadomi)! ?
3. Na czas eliminacji nie są dozwolone żadne rekwizyty ani kostiumy, ale na open miku albo normalnym slamie, jeśli masz coś drobiazgowego, prześlizgniemy to.
4. Sędziowie będą wybierani losowo z publiczności. Slammerzy powinni być oceniani jednakowo za poezję i performancem. Proszę pamiętać, że filozofią wszystkich slamów poetyckich to uczciwość! ?.
5. Zwycięzca otrzymuje kasę i inne pierdoły, które publiczność postanowi wrzucić. ? Jest to nagroda „Dobrej woli publiczności”. Slam nie jest biletowany, więc widownia przynosi coś dla poetów!
PUNKTACJA ELIMINACYJNA:
1 MIEJSCE- 6 PUNKTÓW
2 MIEJSCE- 4 PUNKTY
3 I 4 MIEJSCE- 3 PUNKTY
UDZIAŁ W SLAMIE ELIMINACYJNYM 1 PUNKT
*** WAŻNA UWAGA: Cabaret Poetry Slam, podobnie jak wszystkie slamy na świecie, jest miejscem swobodnej wypowiedzi, ale NIE JEST MIEJSCEM DLA HEJTEROW. Jeśli planujesz obrażać innych w jakikolwiek sposób, czyli zachować się jak dupek, możesz po prostu zostać w domu.
*** WAŻNA UWAGA DO PUBLICZNOŚCI: Pamiętajcie, w slamie poetyckim poeci i publiczność są sobie równi. Bez publiki nie byłoby slamu. Jeśli czujesz, że ktoś przekracza granicę, czyli zachowuję się jak dupek, możesz wyrazić swoją opinię. Buczenie, syczenie, tupanie i pstrykanie placami są dozwolone i zachęcane. Oczywiście pozytywne wzmocnienia są jeszcze bardziej zachęcane, więc proszę, kibicuj, krzycz i deklaruj swoją miłość swoim ulubionym poetom!
*** Uwaga dla wszystkich: Po raz kolejny wszyscy musimy pamiętać o filozofii slamu: „uczciwość”.
TAK JAK WSKAZANE POWYŻEJ PROSZĘ ZAPISZ SIĘ NA SLAM PRZEZ MESSENGER NA Cabaret Poetry Slam lub w dniu slamu. MIEJSCA JEST OGRANICZONE. (20 max)
