Glasgow’s West End is set to shine brighter than ever as Visit West End brings you Christmas in the West End — a full weekend of festive fun, live music, and community celebrations.
And this year, the festivities are even bigger, with three Christmas events to enjoy — including the brand-new Christmas Celebration at Glasgow Uni's Clarice Pears building, making its debut on Saturday, 22nd November.

✨ Clarice Pears Xmas Celebration
Saturday 22nd November | 12–4pm
The newest addition to the West End’s festive calendar kicks off the weekend with live music, market stalls, family entertainment, and plenty of seasonal cheer.
Tree switch on at 3.30 PM with everyone's favourite Glasgow West End Mum, Aileen.
? Vinicombe Street Xmas Celebration
Sunday 23rd November | 11am–6pm
A lively street festival packed with artisan market stalls, festive food, and great performances — culminating in the Social Bite Christmas Tree Switch On at 5:30pm, lighting up the West End sky in support of a wonderful cause.
❄️ Ashton Lane Winter Wonderland
Sunday 23rd November | 12–7pm
Step into a twinkling wonderland filled with festive décor, music, and the unmistakable charm of one of Glasgow’s most iconic lanes. Santa and his elves may even make an appearance!
