Prins Thomas

Prins Thomas’ contribution to the Oslo music scene is unmatched, but his beginnings are humble. Back, way back in time, he started playing around as a DJ at a puerile age. Viewed as an extension of his break-dancing efforts, belt-driven turntables were enough to support his mix of hip hop, electro and an array of Arthur Baker’s and Shep Pettibone’s jewels. That passion for the music and the legacy of places like paradise garage has been channelled through every aspect of Prins Thomas’ being. Through his label Full Pupp and through his sets he is a musical connoisseur with unparalleled skills in the booth.
Isoebel

Isoebel is a new inductee in the DJ booths around Oslo. As somebody that’s been a familiar presence on the scene’s dance floors in recent times she’s made the move from the dance floor to the booth. With Prins Thomas taking her under his wing, his mentee has hit the ground running in her new role. Going from the DJ booth to the recording studio she and Prins Thomas are Double Trouble.
Skatebård
Skatebård, the Norwegian producer of all things electronic. Connoisseurs know that his catalogue oscillates between emotional techno, neo-italo, electro from an alternative future and a Scando-cosmic reinterpretation of pure Detroitian house. Skatebård releases on labels like Digitalo Enterprises / Kompakt, Radius Records, Supersoul Recordings, Tellè Records, Keys of Life Finland, Luna Flicks, Totally and Sex Tags Mania.
Strangefruit
Pål «Strangefruit» Nyhus is an undisputable legend on the Norwegian DJ scene. As a central figure since the early nineties, he has helped shape the unique and eclectic sound of Nordic electronica and is cited as an influence by an entire generation of electronica artists. In 2002, DJ Strangefruit was voted best Norwegian DJ by professionals, music writers and readers of the magazine Natt&Dag. He was a member of Nils Petter Molvær’s band, and founding member of the astounding project Mungolian Jet Set, who released their debut album on Jazzland records, then three more for Smalltown Supersound. He has been a semi-regular remixer at Punkt, both as a collaborator with others or with Mungolian Jet Set, as well as often fulfilling the role of resident DJ.
Aline Umber
Aline Umber, the French duo composed by Aline Brooklyn and Aman Umber, represents a groundbreaking live project that is different from most acts in our music scene. Their performances are different every time since they invite musicians from the city they play in and compose a special live for them by embracing the local culture and musical influences of their venues.
From guitarists and vocalists to string players and percussionists, Aline Umber seamlessly integrates various artists to create a rich, multi-dimensional auditory and visual experience. Whether in an intimate club setting or a big room stage, Aline Umber adapts and thrives, promising an unforgettable experience that resonates with and celebrates the local musical heritage. Their versatility allows for a vast range of collaborations, making each performance an unpredictable and exhilarating adventure.
Ole HK
A rising star on Oslo’s DJ circuit, Ole has been a regular favourite at Jaeger. Associations with the sous-vide records crew, Finnebassen and Norman, sees Ole regular play amongst the city’s elite clubs and concepts and at Jaeger he can often be found playing on Sundays and Thursdays. Ole has a penchant for the minimal sounds that lean toward Techno and the deeper
Kate Miao
Kate Miao is a DJ based in Copenhagen. She is the founder of Miao Music - a label, platform and party concept. Kate embraces various genres and avoids limiting herself to one. Her sound captivates dancers around the world by skillfully navigating cutting-edge sounds and emotions. While Kate embraces a fun energy in her sets, she is not shy of exploring the deep, dark corners of her emo background. This is showcased in her weird, innovative and admirable take on what good dance music is. Her audacious approach orchestrates an unforgettable journey, inviting everyone to reconnect with their inner feline soul and go wild.
PIPPA
PIPPA burst onto Oslo’s electronic scene in summer 2022, quickly establishing herself as a rising talent. Her sets are known for their playful unpredictability—full of "plipp plopp sounds" and bouncy basslines that blend experimental textures with emotional depth. PIPPA curates from the heart, channeling her inner world into sonic storytelling that’s as personal as it is danceable.
g-HA & Olanskii
Two pivotal bodies in the sphere of Norwegian electronic music, g-HA & Olanskii are an event, a club, a DJ duo, and a musical authority for Norway. Individually adept as DJ, selectors and tastemaker, Ola “Olanskii” Smith-Simonsen and Geir “g-HA” Holger’s musical voices unified for Sunkissed, an events series that has become the backbone of Oslo’s electronic music scene and beyond.
Midland
Midland is a DJ, Producer and Record label owner from London. Through his productions, DJ sets and record labels, Midland’s output comes across as unassuming and surprising in equal measure, at once subtle, refined and totally raucous. Midland’s production style has nimbly evolved from one record to the next. For all of these efforts he has received a steady stream of accolades, but it’s possible he’s made his biggest impact with the other side of his craft: DJing. Delivering his kaleidoscopic taste with a mixing technique that nods as much to his British lineage as it does to a smoother European style, he has distinguished himself with sets as classy as they are utterly party rocking. Hits like
Det Gode Selskab
Det Gode Selskab are an Oslo DJ collective born out of the subterranean depths of a new underground. Thriving off the energy of the people on the dance floor, Det Gode Selskab are known for their potent and vivid events. Whether they are lurching under bridges or in a dusty library, Det Gode Selskab have an innate knack for igniting an incandescent spark on the dance floor, through the music of their peers.
MC Kaman
A larger than life figure and one of the proprietors of Oslo’s “hard core clubbing” (sic) institution, MC Kaman might play underground, but his sole purpose in life is cultivating a convivial atmosphere. His CD cases quite literally bulge with guilty pleasures and affable arrangements from the charts. There’s no musical taboo that MC Kaman is not willing to accommodate and the music he plays. There is no irony to be found in an MC Kaman set… only a good time in the company of good popular music. MC Kaman POPs!
Kash
Kashfa King Gashamura (aka Kash / kash king) is an actor, radio presenter and DJ, who has played a influenced many kyoung Norwegian’s core memories as a Children’s tv host. He’s a familiar face on the Norwegian cultural spectrum and as an actor he’s recognised both on stage and on screen. When he’s not in the public eye, he moonlights as a DJ, making this rare appearance alongside MC Kaman in our booth.
DJ2Chaos
DJ2Chaos aka Chioko twins, are contemporary Norwegian fashion icons and DJs. Literally twins, they bring their eccentricities to the DJ booth as MC Kaman acolytes, bringing a new dimension to Saturday’s guilty pleasures.
Hetty
Ever since he snuck his way in at the age of 19, few have put in more hours at Jaeger than Hetty, and it can’t be ignored that Jaeger has played an important role in developing his taste. Over the last decade he has cultivated a signature style of bass driven, non-obvious but dancefloor friendly tunes - from the deeper side of space disco, through the original sounds of US house, with a hint of 00s tech, blending it together with some of the modern day high energy house music - resulting in dynamic sets full of pleasant surprises.
diskJokke
diskJokke was first discovered back in 2008 when signing three tunes to Prins Thomas Full Pupp label (released on two 12” singles). Almost simultaneously in Germany, M.A.N.D.Y, DJ T and the Get Physical gang signed diskJokke for five other tunes (spread on two 12” singles) to their new Get Physical sub label, Kindisch. Upon hearing his 12”s, word quickly spread about diskJokke’s quirky, spaced out and dubby mixture of house, Italo and disco, and he was soon asked to remix tunes for a number of artists. As a DJ, diskJokke has played everything from Panoramabar Berlin, Space Ibiza, Liquid Room Tokyo, D Edge Sao Paulo, Razzmatazz Barcelona, in addition to festivals such as Sonar, Big Chill, Dour, CTM and Øya.
Vinny Villbass
One of the most pivotal figures in Oslo’s DJ community, there is no current narrative in Oslo’s electronic music scene where the name Vinny Villbass could be negated. A producer, artist, sound guru and DJ, if it involves music, Vinny Villbass is somehow involved. He occupies a variety of related positions in electronic music from the studio to behind the curtain and it all culminates in his experience as a DJ.
