About the Show
Bye Bye Birdie is a high-energy, crowd-pleasing musical filled with big dance numbers, memorable songs, and a wide range of roles for performers of all ages.
Cast List – Principal & Featured Roles
• Albert Peterson – A nervous young songwriter on the brink of adulthood (30s)
• Rosie Alvarez – Albert’s strong-willed, loving girlfriend (late 20s)
• Conrad Birdie – A rock-and-roll teen idol about to be drafted (around 21)
• Kim MacAfee – A sweet, all-American teenager chosen to receive Conrad’s farewell kiss (stage age 15)
• Hugo Peabody – Kim’s loyal (and jealous) boyfriend (stage age 16)
• Ursula Merkle – Kim’s outspoken and quirky best friend (stage age 15)
• Mae Peterson – Albert’s overbearing mother (stage age 60s+)
• Harry MacAfee – Kim’s well-meaning but frustrated father (40s–50s)
• Doris MacAfee – Kim’s caring, traditional mother (40s–50s)
• Mr. Johnson – Mayor of Sweet Apple, Ohio (35+)
• Mrs. Merkle – Ursula’s mother (40s–50s)
• Randolph MacAfee – Kim’s little brother (stage age 8–10)

Audition Information
🎶 Auditions are open to new and returning members of Stirling Players.
🎤 Please prepare a song in the style of the show.
💃 Some roles will require movement/dance. Auditionees will be sent a dance video closer to the audition date.

Casting is colour-blind, and actors with disabilities are welcome.
