About this Event
The Buzz Mill Shore Corps along with Squatch Frontier Fitness, the Texas River School, and the Lumber Society are hosting a big Town Lake Shore Clean on Saturday, May 23, from 8:30 to 11:30am! We’ll be attacking the trash from the shore and from the water with eight canoes at our disposal!
We’ll meet at Buzz Mill Coffee, 1505 Town Creek Drive, at 8:30am. Afterward we’ll head back to Buzz Mill and Santo Patio for a snack and a drink on us!
We’ll have 2-person canoes available for use to get on the water and grab all the trash that can’t be reached from the shore. This is the work that most needs to be done, and it can be fun doing it. Our canoe spots will be filled first-come first-serve, so show up early!
We will provide tools and gloves (bring your own if you'd like) but bring a water bottle and wear work-appropriate clothing: long pants, long-sleeved shirt, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, bug spray. Thanks!
