Mountain biking is an investment: From bikes to helmets, shoes, shin guards, and more, riders need to be smart about how they outfit themselves. Join Hale's coordinator of mountain biking, Chris Nichols, to learn how you can safely and economically outfit yourself or your camper.

This spring, join Hale’s outdoor pros in a series of free online sessions to learn how you and your family can prepare for everyone’s favorite season: summer! All sessions will offer Q&A opportunities with presenters. Recordings will be available for registrants who are unable to attend. All events will take place on Zoom from 7-8 PM ET.

Wed. May 7: Swimming Lessons 101

Swimming and boating lessons can be complicated: How do you know which level your child should start at? What’s the difference between a lifeguard and a water safety instructor? How is swimming in a pond or lake different from swimming in a pool? National Water Safety Month is a great time to learn the answers to these questions and more. Join Hale’s aquatics director, Lindsey Pierce, to learn how our waterfront staff safely teaches nearly 400 students every day. Register now.
