About this Event
Urban Restoration Counseling Center (URCC) is a non-profit organization that provides mental health services to people of color by people of color. We educate communities about the importance of mental health and train student therapists to heal the impacts of trauma that is passed down through family generations.
This event is a time for the community to come together and learn that mental health IS for the culture....for our culture.
We will have interactive activities for all ages focused on increasing mental health awareness.
The sales from each butterfly sold will help support our Therapy for ALL program which offers no-cost/low cost counseling to communities of color.
JOIN US as we release butterflies into the earth as a symbol of hope for communities of color fighting everyday to overcome depression, managing anxiety, and live a life without struggling with mental illness.
