We are hosting a Butterfly Release Party at the Irrigation Festival Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 2nd. You can raise your very own butterflies from caterpillars, and them bring them to the Botanical Garden at Carrie Blake Park to release.
Pre-order your kits by March 20th and then pick them up with your caterpillars at Dungeness Kids on Saturday, April 3rd. You will care for your caterpillars for 3-4 weeks as they turn into chrysalides and emerge beautiful Painted Lady butterflies all while experiencing firsthand the miracle of the butterfly metamorphosis.
