Busy Hands brings together two much-loved crafts:
Woodcraft – presented by the Ashburton Woodworkers Club, who for 35 years have gathered to share their skills in woodturning, furniture making, carving, and more.
Cross Stitch Art – from Alison and Andrea Scammell, a mother and daughter-in-law duo, whose beautiful needlework tells stories of patience, tradition, and creativity.
With the participation of 15 talented Ashburton artists, the exhibition will showcase an inspiring variety of handmade works – from finely turned wood pieces to detailed cross stitches, each one created with care and love.
