What: Help us care for our wonderful HQ space. We will be cleaning, dusting, sorting, organising and whatever else is necessary to keep our HQ operating at its best.
When: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th January 2025 from 9.30am
Where: Our HQ - 27 Birchington Street, Beckenham
Who: All members and non-members welcome
Facilitator: Our head volunteer and Chairperson Krystelle. Krystelle has a penchant for cleanliness, organisation and order and will be our conductor on the day.
Price for members: Free
Price for non-members: Free for not-yet members attending their first event with us. People looking to sign up can click HERE for Membership information
Food: BYO lunch/ nibbles
Drinks: Tea and coffee are available but we ask for a gold coin donation so we can replenish our supplies for your next visit . Bottles of water and soft drinks are available for sale. Just ask.
Parking: Free parking is available inside our main gate.
What to bring: Comfortable clothes and closed in shoes. Gloves (optional) to protect against hot water or dirt
Other: The GWC is run by volunteers therefore it is expected everyone attending contributes to maintaining our premises including sweeping, cleaning and putting the area back in order after every event. Please note public events by their very nature are open to the public and therefore males may be in attendance.
