ALICE SLOAN
is an 18 year old singer-songwriter from Bangor, Northern Ireland. Taking influence from alternative rock such as Fiona Apple and Jeff Buckley, and softer folk like Adrianne Lenker and Haley Heynderickx, she uses melodic chord progressions, prominent vocals and uncompromising lyrics to craft her own sound.

BEN TRAILL
Emerging in 2021 from Derry, Ben Traill blends rock, indie rock, alternative rock, folk and singer songwriter into a genre-defying sound.
Ben Traill is a singer-songwriter whose music blends the raw emotion of indie rock with the storytelling of folk rock.
After spending four years performing on cruise ships, he traded in nightly renditions of Sweet Caroline for the pursuit of his own artistic vision. His songs are honest, heartfelt, and often explore themes of introspection and the challenges of everyday life.
In 2025, Ben has had the privilege of supporting renowned acts including The Whistlin’ Donkeys and Canaan Cox as as playing his first headline show at Voodoo Belfast on October 15th 2025. With a passion for connecting through music and a dedication to his craft, Ben continues to build a sound and presence that is entirely his own.

BUSKING SHARKS PROJECT & Open Mic
Every month, we host an Open Mic Evening and an audio/video recording session with a small, intimate audience for selected artists ready to take the next step in their musical journey. This is your chance to perform, record your work, and connect with a supportive creative community.
If your music doesn’t fit the pub or street busking scene…
If you’re looking for an atmospheric venue with a small, attentive audience who want to truly connect with your sound…
If you believe your music or voice is unique, niche, and deserves to be heard…
This is for you.
Spaces are limited each month, so get in touch to secure your spot or learn more about how you can be involved in this vibrant new chapter for Belfast’s music scene.
