1-day workshop to explore your idea to make a difference & consider how this might work as a business
About this Event

Do you have an idea that could run as a business whilst doing good at the same time? This could be the programme for you.

Our aim is to support people who want to set up Socially Trading Organisations. This means purpose-led organisations that are not reliant upon grants but generate their own income to do more good.

Participants can expect a 121 online diagnostic meeting followed by a full day training programme to help you:

Explore and test your idea
Learn business planning techniques and skills to decide if your idea is ready to launch
Develop a tailored action plan to help you achieve your ambitions
Explore different social business legal structures to find the right one for you

Venue: St James View Room on the 8th Floor, Newcastle University Business School.

This fully funded programme is open to residents in Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland. This course is specifically for current Newcastle University Students.
