This special Business Safety Seminar is designed to equip business owners, managers, and employees with practical tools to better protect their people and workplaces.
This session will feature respected local law enforcement leaders sharing real-world guidance:
Chief Matt Kaluzny (City of Utica) will discuss proactive strategies to help business owners protect themselves, their employees, and their customers.
Macomb County Undersheriff Liz Darga will walk through active shooter preparedness for small businesses, including response planning and protective measures.
Deputy Chief Ken Pappas will focus on de-escalation training and techniques to help prevent workplace incidents from escalating.
Attendees will leave with practical safety strategies, increased awareness, and greater confidence in handling difficult situations.
