Business of Art with Betsy PetersonThursday, April 9 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Join us for an evening of small business resource sharing and a presentation by Betsy Peterson! Betsy runs a storefront gallery in
downtown Perry, Iowa, and shares a studio in the lower level with her husband, Eric who creates a wide array of functional pottery. Betsy crafts whimsical paintings, sculptures, and home décor, and often collaborates with Eric by embellishing his pottery with glazes and decals of her own design. Throughout her career, Betsy has explored a wide range of creative projects, including public art, murals, and graphic design.
Deeply rooted in her community, Betsy has also taught art lessons and youth camps and regularly participates in regional events such as Art on the Prairie. Pre-registration is not required.
