If you love ice cream (and who doesn’t?) and want to do more business networking – we have the event for you. Creative Content Company are very excited to have joined forced with Heavenly Desserts in Peterborough to offer a one-off Business Networking event to celebrate National Ice Cream Month. Local business networking and ice cream – what more could you want???

July is National Ice Cream Month. Here at Creative Content Company, we are always encouraging people to celebrate national days and months on their social media platforms. We are also big on the local business community and supporting local businesses. From our experience, people buy people. Through business networking you can meet more people, and in turn build some great business relationships. Business relationships shouldn’t be all about work – you need to get to know real people. This is where business networking and ice cream coming together could be the key for success.

Imran Ali is the owner of Heavenly Desserts in Peterborough. This is a delicious dessert café in the city centre. Hazel, of Creative Content Company, first met Imran when the dessert café opened before covid. She attended the opening event and has been an advocate for the café ever since. In fact, the musicians performing at the opening event later performed at Hazel’s wedding. Hazel approached Imran with her idea for business networking and ice cream to celebrate National Ice Cream Month and he was keen to get involved.

The event will take place at Heavenly Desserts, 23 Cowgate, Peterborough on Thursday 25th July. It is a free business networking event in Peterborough. You are welcome to attend from 4pm, for the event to officially start at 4.30pm and we will be done by 6pm, but you are welcome to stay and eat more delicious desserts. Each attendees needs to book in advance and will be offered two free scoops of ice cream. Drinks and other treats can then be purchased at the venue.

On arrival you will be welcomed by Hazel and Imran. We will network informally before taking to tables. Once seated you will network and chat with those on your table. Imran and Hazel will tell you a little about themselves before the ‘formal’ part of networking starts. This is where you will be invited to stand for 60 seconds and tell the room who you are and what your business does. You’ll then have an opportunity to meet other attendees and network freely.

The is a one-off and brand-new event and should be really exciting. Imran and Hazel are both keen to support the local business community and are hoping an event like this will help local businesses grow.
