This workshop will be hosted by Elena Enciso, Head of International Trade at Liverpool Chamber and will provide insights for SMEs expanding to international markets with local support.

A power hour for SMEs on expanding to International Markets with local support:

Local Organisations for Support: Chambers of Commerce, DBT and HMRC

• Overview of resources, training, and networks available
• How to leverage local chambers, Department for Business and Trade, and HMRC for international trade

Build and International trade Plan and Business Diagnostic

• Setting clear international objectives and goals.
• Product, people, markets, marketing, operations and finance (budget and timelines)

Please note this session is for businesses based in Liverpool only. We reserve the right to cancel tickets for those not based in the Liverpool local authority area. Confirmation of your place on the session will be provided as soon as possible after you register and we will share any joining instructions with all those eligible nearer the day of the session via an email from our Business Support Service account with Eventbrite.

This session is delivered through the Business Support Service at Liverpool City Council which provides fully-funded support to existing businesses based in Liverpool and also to Liverpool residents looking to start-up a new business. This session is hosted by Liverpool Chamber of Commerce who are Liverpool City Council’s contracted business support partner for this service. The Business Support Service project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority.
