Experience a one-of-a-kind evening where literature and original music come together. Bushwick Book Club Seattle and KPCU present a present a creative twist on an author series: a live performance of brand-new songs inspired directly from the book’s pages. Authors will join musicians onstage to discuss their work, their creative process, and the music it inspired. The audience is invited to take part in a moderated Q&A discussion as part of the event.
The Art of Racing in the Rain is a heartfelt story about love, loyalty, and the unbreakable connection between a dog and his human. Told through the soulful perspective of Enzo, it follows a family’s joys and heartbreaks while celebrating the everyday courage it takes to weather life’s storms.
