A bush dance will be held at St James Hall, 462 Elizabeth Street, New Town (the hall at the back) on Saturday January 18, 2025 from 7pm to 10:30pm.
This event is being organised in conjunction with the Folk Federation of Tasmania, is free, and all are welcome to attend.
This dance has been organised to celebrate Kate's (50th) and her son William's (23rd) birthdays, but even if you do not know Kate and William personally, you are still very welcome to come along.
If you're not an experienced dancer don't worry!
Dance callers Sarah "Twinkletoes" Lewis and David "Oddsocks" Wanlass will be teaching and calling all dances.
Live music will be played by Deanna Devers and Susannah Clark, two enormously talented and wonderfully excellent local musicians.
So, come if you like, bring something to share for supper. If you could RSVP that would be great.
