Would you like to stay fit, socialise and have fun? $50 only.Join TasSwing to learn to dance in a day. Swing dance is a group of social dances that developed with the swing style of jazz music in the 1920s-1940s. Also known as Lindy Hop, it has its roots in African-American dance. We will teach you 3 variations of swing in this learn to dance in a day, as well as FREE social dancing with our swing dance community to give you a taste of this wonderful hobby.
To make sure that you are hooked, you will also receive a FREE beginner class at our regular venue, the Polish Hall in New Town on Feb 5th at 6:30pm (once you sign up to our newsletter and join our Facebook group)

1:15pm - arrive and sign in
1:30-2:30pm - 6 count with Relle and Scott
2:30-3:30pm - Charleston with Relle and Scott
3:30-4:30pm - How to social dance with Relle and Scott
4:30-6pm - FREE social dancing with DJ music, bar open
Cost: only $50 + booking fee
Wear flat shoes (slippery if possible). Come with a partner, your friends or by yourself. We will rotate partners during class so you can meet new people. Help us spread the word and the love of swing dancing.
