The Tjanpi Weavers of the Central Desert region were the first to create 'Bush Toys' by wrapping 'Tjanpi' (grass) with raffia and wool. Their work is featured in Art Galleries around Australia. I acknowledge them as the initiators of this indigenous art form, which was taught to me by Gunditjamara master weaver Aunty Bronwyn Razem, who has given me permission to teach Bush Animals
