Join Halcyon for Burt Dow, Deep-Water Man, a whale of a tale told in the classic tradition! Narrated by Luke Fatora, the performance features projections of McCloskey’s iconic artwork alongside live music by Halcyon String Quartet. Halcyon is a nonprofit organization, string quartet, and artist collective based in Midcoast Maine. As musicians, artists, filmmakers, animators, advocates, and storytellers, we strive to share our love of music in ways that foster connection, community, vibrancy, joy, warmth, and accessibility.
