In this class, scouts will learn their Mining in Society Merit Badge. Be prepared to learn all about minerals, rocks, and what's deep inside our Earth. Mining has been an important part of our nation since the 19th century. Using the museums exhibits, and specimens from Collections, learn about the history of mining, mining careers, and safety. Participants will be sent the homework requirements upon registration.
Pre-registration & prepayment are required to attend.

- Parent/Extra adult $6.00 each.

Cancellation/refund policy
If cancellation is received 7 clear days ahead of the date a refund less 20% will be issued. Please be aware that we sometimes have to cancel a program because it did not reach the minimum registration requirement – Don’t wait until the last minute to sign up or your program may already be cancelled!
