Here is an opportunity to claim bragging rights for being the best of the best when it comes to playing games and supporting a good cause.
Comprehensive Community Solutions, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that has a mission to "drive the fundamental transformation of neighborhoods, communities, and the circumstances of those who reside there through the facilitation of workforce development that leads to a sustainable wage, meaningful community engagement, and affordable housing." CCS drives our mission through its six core values: Partnership, Respect, Accountability, Intentional Growth, Curiosity, Leadership & Service. CCS hosts four youth development programs: YouthBuild Rockford, RockForWork, Alive & Free and Advanced Learning Program for Higher Achievements (ALPHA). We have come a long way in terms of updates to our facilities, but still have a long way to go.
On Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 6pm – 9pm, CCS will be hosting our first annual Sip&Play Fundraiser event. We’ve got a little something for everyone to enjoy. The first hour will be an opportunity to network and mingle, tour our entire facility (3 buildings on campus), enjoy a beverage provided by Vee Dub’s Mobile Cocktail Bar and take full advantage of our play room area that will feature games such as: Jenga, Bags, Board Games, Video Games, Card Games, Pool, Foosball, Monopoly, Connect 4, Chess and More.
The fun doesn’t stop there. After an hour of play, you will have an opportunity to win prizes that help support many of our local businesses. Our feature game for the night will be the all-time classic – BINGO. While anxiously waiting to see if your board will contain the lucky numbers called, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy food prepared by one of CCS’s newest programs Rock For Work Culinary Program. The menu will feature items from multiple cultures and backgrounds.
The goal of this fundraiser is $20,000 and here’s where you come in. CCS has undergone multiple projects over the last few years to update our facility. While we are grateful for the progress that has been made, we are a long way from where we need to be.
You can get involved in multiple ways.
1. You can become a sponsor to help raise funds for CCS

3. You can donate a gift card from your establishment for one of the BINGO prizes
4. You can attend by donating $50 on the site listed above and keeping record of your receipt in order to gain entry to the event
5. You can spread the word about this event on all social media platforms and by word of mouth
