Swing it Brussels! is thrilled to present Burning Swing XL. Not only one night, but a full weekend with two parties and dance workshops by the magnificent Old Soulz!

🔥 The Workshops 🔥
We are pleased to welcome the Old Soulz for an exceptional weekend of workshops.
Old Soulz is an old-style Jazz dance crew based in Brussels. They are greatly inspired by the originators of the African American Jazz dances mostly developed during the Harlem Renaissance pre-and-post war era. From fast, airstep driven, Lindy Hop performances to freestyle jams, Old Soulz wishes to share their greatest inspirations.
These workshops will be focusing on three key aspects: sharing inspirations from famous Jazz dance originators, exploring swing techniques they've found to enable personal freedom and developing one's own individual style and expression.
The different groups will intentionally be kept small to medium-size in order to truly focus on each individual and identify their needs.
Old Soulz have been training for a few years on a regular basis with local dancers and the extended performance group called Jazz Maniacs, always looking for inspiration and sharing the excitement of the dance.

Because swing dance is about improvisation, spontaneity and shared fun that can only be supported by live music.
Because we have many incredibly talented swing musicians around us that are eager to play.
Because we love live music.
For all these reasons, live music will be the essence of Burning Swing.

Parties for Lindy Hoppers by Lindy Hoppers, this is the spirit of Burning Swing. Organized by a bunch of volunteers from Swing in Brussels, this party is to all Lindy Hop dancers.

The Salle des Guichets venue is located in the historical center of Brussels, in a superb neo-classical edifice, built in 1775, perched on the captivating “Mont des arts”, and located only 200 meters from the Royal Palace of Brussels. Dreamy and nostalgic atmosphere guaranteed!
