The Idea...
Forget speed dating. This is an organic, intentional, swipe-free way to meet people - set aboard a beautiful yacht during the golden hour in the Viaduct Harbour.
No cringey one-liners. No forced interviews. Just a relaxed environment where conversation flows naturally.
You’ll be surrounded by like-minded singles who are also open to meeting someone. Come solo. Leave with a few new connections… maybe one that matters.
Fun fact: Around 25% of guests from past events come back again because they have so much fun!
Why our event hits different.
The problem with modern dating isn’t people - it’s the environments we meet in. If you’re still single when it seems like everyone else has paired up, it’s easy to start wondering what’s wrong with you. But most of the time the issue isn’t you - it’s simply that the places people meet today aren’t designed for real connection.
Dating apps make you feel disposable, which can really lower your confidence. Bars are chaotic and insincere - often just a waste of time, money, and energy, and leave you with a hangover. And most singles events are as stressful as a one-on-one with your boss. Definitely not a great place to develop chemistry.
So instead, we created something simple: A beautiful yacht. A sunset evening. A great group of singles who are open to real conversation.

What’s Included:
The Venue: 3 hours of exclusive access aboard the Wasting Light, a stunning 70ft yacht securely docked in the Viaduct.
Welcome Drink: A complimentary glass of bubbles as soon as you step on board.
Catering: Delicious grazing/antipasto platters.
Curated Crowd: A strictly limited guest list (maximum 36 singles), aiming for a 50/50 balance.
The Vibe: Optional, light conversation starters hosted by our team to help break the ice effortlessly and encourage mingling.
