About this Event

Join us at Blue Dot Acres this holiday season for a cozy afternoon of connection, conversation, and good food. Bunnies & Bites is part charcuterie-board social and part guided conversation exploring our personal and cultural relationships with food.

This event is facilitated by Anika Dhalla, a Registered Dietitian, who will thoughtfully guide us through a mindful approach to eating—one that honours not only nourishment, but also comfort, culture, family, memory, and community.

Rather than focusing on “healthy eating” in the strict, New-Year’s-resolution sense, we’ll explore what it truly means to feel at home with food. How do we feed ourselves in ways that feel supportive? What parts of our relationship with food feel tender, complicated, or joyful? What might shift when we slow down, eat together, and listen to our bodies and each other?

What’s Included
  • A beautifully curated charcuterie board from Let it Be Charcuterie to enjoy together
  • Time to visit with the bunnies and settle into the farm space
  • Facilitated group conversation led by Anika Dhalla, RD
  • Gentle reflection prompts + story-sharing
  • A welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere for learning and being in community

Why This Matters

Food is never just fuel. It’s:

  • Comfort
  • Satiety
  • Family
  • Community
  • Culture
  • Philosophy and values

When we understand these layers, we can understand ourselves more deeply.

This gathering invites you to explore your relationship with food with kindness and curiosity—not perfection.

Meet Anika, our facilitator for Bunnies and Bites

Anika Dhalla, RD, takes a weight-inclusive approach when meeting with clients, which means that she don’t focus on clients’ weight. Her approach holistically examines mindfulness, drive, food choices, and family history, while considering social factors, culture and food security.
