Bundanoon Fire Station is hosting a relaxed community safety session for local residents, on Monday 11 May, 10-11am, at Soldiers’ Memorial Hall.Join us for a cuppa and a biscuit while Bundy firefighters, medical first responders and paramedics from NSW Ambulance chat about:
~ What firefighters actually do in Bundy and surrounding towns
~ The difference between RFS (Rural Fire Service) responsibilities and ours (Fire and Rescue), and how we work together
~ Simple things you can do to reduce your fire risk at home
~ Our free Home Fire Safety Visits
~ How our Bundanoon Community First Responder (CFR) program works alongside NSW Ambulance
~ What to do in a medical emergency
It will be informal, friendly and a chance to ask questions. We’d particularly love to see the senior members of our community at this event, and those who support them.
