All Buncombe County properties have been assigned updated values reflecting the real estate market as of January 2026. To help property owners understand their new values, learn about tax relief programs, and navigate the appeals process, Buncombe County Property Assessment staff, along with volunteer real estate professionals, will host a series of free Property Value Appeal Clinics.Remember there are several ways to appeal and could be as simple as updating your property's information.

- Attend an Appeal Clinic
