Join food writer, bakery insider, and Bun Run founder @emmahitsthespot and a group of like-minded people passionate about pastries, for a sociable 10km tour via 5 exceptional independent bakeries I love and remain loyal to… Aries Bakehouse, Maya’s Bakehouse, Bunhead Bakery, Eric’s Bakery and Toad Bakery.
With each bakery just a couple kilometres apart, you can ease into the running, get to know other pastry lovers, with the promise of regular stops and pastry rewards along the way!
You’ll get to know the story behind each bakery - looking beyond trends and learning about the people, processes, ingredients, suppliers and values that shape their craft. Then it’s love at first sight / love at first bite as we lay our hands on the incredible items these bakeries have to offer!
