About Fat Pat's
In January 2007, Fat Pat's Bar & Grill opened the doors to their first location on Verot School Road in Lafayette, LA. Family-owned and operated, Fat Pat's strives to ensure delicious food and family-friendly atmosphere in the Acadiana community. Brothers Aaron and Adam, develop the recipes and oversee day-to-day operations, while Mama Chris handles the books, and Papa Marty takes care of just about everything else!
So who is "Fat Pat"? Well, you see, back in the restaurant's early days, Fat Pat's was staffed by family, like many small businesses. One of the cooks went by the nickname, "Fat Pat", and it fit the restaurant's motto, "Never Trust a Skinny Cook!" The name stuck and Fat Pat's Bar & Grill now has four restaurants and more franchised locations in the works.
