Welcome to the Bumblebee Extravaganza: A South Asian Celebration!
We are celebrating the birthplace of bumblebees in the Himalayas and you are invited!
Come and join us on Sunday 6th October at Aldersbrook Community Centre in Newham for an exciting afternoon filled with bumblebee talks traditional South Asian dancing and guided meditation. Enjoy a buffet of delicious dishes while you immerse yourself in a celebration of community culture and our precious pollinators.
Agenda:
12:55 - Introduction to the Wonderful World of Bumblebees
13:30 - Buffet including delicious curries and other dishes made from ingredients pollinated by bumblebees.
14:30 - Buzzing in the East End Talk
15:10 - Traditional South Asian Dancing followed by a Guided Meditation

This event is part of Buzzing in the East End (B.E.E) our exciting initiative to make a buzz across 11 boroughs of east London generously funded by the Kusuma Trust. We are collaborating with local residents communities and landowners to establish where rare bumblebees are and the current state of their habitat.
Tickets are £4 for adults £1 for children. This includes the delicious food drinks and entertainment. If the cost is a concern please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
