Bulwer Airsports Club (BAC) is once again putting on flying festival in conjunction with Wildsky Paragliding to help you make the most of your Easter long weekend. The 4-day fly away aims to get free-flight enthusiasts in the air, over the Easter weekend.
With no set formal programme in place you're invited come free fly with your mates and hopefully make some new mates along the way. The highly contested spot landing comp will be back and for those keen on flying a task or two, a competition style task will be set on all mornings based on the days forecast (a waypoint file will be made available for download shortly). So come hone your flying skills in a laidback setup.
For days that may be unflyable informal talks will be held at the Wildsky Lodge which will include safety, tech, strategy or any other burning topic you may have.
We invite you (and your family) along to come and join us in this community driven event.
Further event details will be posted to this page so please feel free to share with all your free-flying friends.
This year marks BACs 30th anneversairy so we plan to include a couple of extras for those that do attend.
Costs:
There is no cost for the event itself although we do ask pilots who are non-members to pay site fees (R50 per person per day) and consider a small donation to the club.
All attendees will be responsible for there own accommodation, food, shuttle to take-off, recovery etc.
