NATMUS is opening their museum doors to the community to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of David Pearson's first Grand National Champion win, the racing partnership between David Pearson and Cotton Owens and the 27 NASCAR wins they acquired together between 1964-1967. NATMUS will have the winning 1966 Dodge Charger on display, along with the 1964 Dodge Polara which were both instrumental in the win, as well as the undefeated 1937 Flathead Ford Coupe he raced in the vintage stock car class.
Pearson's Son and the Old Cars Weekly crew will be on-site to share the history and the memories of early NASCAR.
Thanks to the Pearson Family, the Bonutti Family and Al Rogers from Old Cars Weekly.
