We’re absolutely stoked to be bringing something a little different to Christchurch, a full day packed with hands-on DIY learning for women.This is a space where you can roll up your sleeves, pick up the tools, and give things a go in a safe, relaxed and completely judgement-free environment.
Wander through our interactive stations and get a real taste of practical DIY — from learning how to confidently use power tools to making your own small homewares or thoughtful gifts you can take home (or give away!).
We’ll also be sharing some of the most common building issues found around Kiwi homes, and showing you the simple fixes that can save you time, money, and a whole lot of frustration.
Feeling brave? Come and have a crack at reversing a trailer — next time you might just be the one showing your partner how it’s done.
Expect chainsaws, power tools, live demonstrations, and builders on site crafting dog kennels, cat towers, and outdoor seating that we’ll be giving away at the end of the day.
And of course — no great Kiwi gathering is complete without good food and hot coffee.
