Building Up Early Educators Spring Training Day

Registration opens for Burke and McDowell Counties on February 17, 2026 , and for all other counties on March 2, 2026.

Child Care Connections of Burke County is excited to welcome Dr. Adam Holland as our presenter for Spring Training Day 2026! Adam Holland, PhD is an Implementation Specialist at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests include challenging behaviors, progressions-based pedagogies, and implementation science. Dr. Holland has served as the Director of the North Carolina Early Learning Network, the Research Director of the Abecedarian Education Foundation, and the Chair of the International Early Childhood Inclusion Institute. His current projects focus on inclusive STEM in early childhood and assisting the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services implement evidence-based innovations that benefit young children and their families. In his spare time, Dr. Holland enjoys napping and forgetting why he walked into a room.
