Understand the trends which are shaping changes to the nature of jobs and workplaces
About this Event

The future of work considers the impact of 4 major trends - technological change, ageing workforce, globalisation, climate change – on jobs and workplaces. For the construction industry the Building the Future Commission looked at “radical and challenging ideas that could help transform the built environment”, with digital innovation, net zero, skills & education and workplace, culture & leadership coming out as some of the key themes. In this workshop we will explore how these trends are likely to affect your business and how you might cope with/take advantage of the challenges.

On completion of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Understand the trends which are shaping changes to the nature of jobs and workplaces
  • Analyse how these trends are likely to affect the construction industry
  • Develop plans for your business to take advantage of/cope with these trends
